When you debunk something someone’s saying and they ignore your points



and repeat their falsehoods again, as if saying something utterly inane and counter-factual more forcefully the second time should suddenly make it more true.

This happened to me last night when debating with someone about why a Straight Pride Day in Brazil is unnecessary. I pretty much debunked everything he said, but then he came back with “It’s just my perspective…”. 

Same thing happened to me! Instead of listening, the retort was about nationalistic pride.
